Mobile Cancer Screening Camp @ Virudhunagar Ex-Army Welfare Association, Srivilliputhur
A cancer screening camp was organized on 09.08.2025 in association with ECHS, Virudhunagar for Ex-Army personnel.
A 10-member team from Guru Hospital, including consultants and medical officers, conducted screenings using the mobile clinic bus. Tests included physical examination, BP, ECG, Mammogram, Ultrasound (ECHO & Abdomen), Pap smear, and blood investigations.
52 participants were screened; 7 Mammograms were performed for breast cancer. Suspected cases were referred for specialist consultation and follow-up at Guru Hospital.
The camp was successfully organized under the guidance of the Chairman, Guru Hospital.
